Where is the conference?

The 2020 RCS International Conference will be held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Bank, Brisbane). Click here for travel details.

What is included in the registration fee?

Please visit the Registration page to find what is included in your registration fee. Please note that accommodation and travel expenses are not included in the registration fees.

Are the workshops and gala dinner included with my registration?

The workshops and gala dinner are an optional extras and are not included in the price of the seminar registration. If you would like to attend either or both of these, please make sure you select those options when registering.

I’m an Executive Link member. What’s included in my Executive Link fees?

If you will be an Executive Link board member in July 2021, please contact Kelly McCosker to discuss what is included in your Executive Link fees. Telephone (07) 4939 5255.

Can I purchase a single-day registration?

No, single day passes are not available.

Can registrations be shared with more than one person?

Registrations cannot be shared. However, you can transfer registration from one person to another prior to the start of the conference. All such requests must be submitted to rcs@expertevents.com.au . Only requests made by the original registrant will be honoured.

Can I bring a guest to the gala dinner?

Yes, in fact we encourage you to bring guests to the gala dinner. The more, the merrier! Additional tickets can be purchase via the ‘Buy Tickets’ link above, until sold out.

Are there student, government, group, non-profit, or seniors discounts?

No. The current advertised price for the conference is the best and only rate available.

I am travelling from outside Australia and need a Visa letter. Can you help me?

If you are visiting from abroad and require a Visa letter, we are happy to assist where required. Your first step is to purchase a ticket to the conference. Once you’ve done that, please send an email to rcs@expertevents.com.au. We will reply specifying the information we’ll need you to supply so we can provide you with a Visa letter.

Will there be Internet access at the conference?

Yes, complimentary Internet access will be available in the conference meeting spaces at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Are meals provided at the conference?

Some meals are provided. Please visit the Registration page to see what’s included with your ticket.

Are drinks available at the Gala Dinner?

Yes: a cash bar will be in operation at the gala dinner, with a range of beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

What should I wear to the conference?

Conference attire is smart casual. There is air conditioning within the venue, so make sure you bring a light jacket if you feel the cold. The average daytime temperature in Brisbane during July is around 22° C, with night-time temperatures dropping to around 10° C. Rain is possible, but unlikely.

What should I wear to the gala dinner?

We ask that you get a little (or a lot!) dressed up if attending the gala dinner. Please wear cocktail attire as a minimum.

What is the refund/transfer policy?

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the conference secretariat. Registration cancellations received by Friday 11 June, 2021 will receive a refund of registration fees less an administrative charge of $110. Refunds for cancellations received after Friday 11 June 2021 will be at the discretion of RCS. Eligible refunds will be issued after the conclusion of the conference. Registrations are transferable to another person at any time prior to the event, provided the conference secretariat is advised in writing. Note – if you purchased a ticket prior to the COVID-19 postponement and require a refund due to the change in dates, please contact us.

Do you offer media passes?

Media passes may be available, assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Will session recordings be available?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that a recording of the event will be available.
